How to fix the “Logitech Cordless Device” driver not installed!

When I connected the Logitech Unify USB receiver to my laptop, Windows could not install the driver for the ‘Logitech Cordless Device.’

Initially, I attempted to resolve the issue by installing the Logitech Options application, but unfortunately, the driver failed to install it.

I eventually found a solution through a Reddit post(link), which recommended installing the Logitech SetPoint software.

This software is available for download on the Logitech website at https://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/setpoint.

After installing SetPoint, the “Logitech Cordless Device” driver was successfully installed.

Please note, I am unsure why the driver does not accompany the Logitech Options application.”
